Cure Tinnitus – Scam or Can ?

“I have cured my Tinnitus in 5 simple steps”

“My Tinnitus Was Gone in 2 Complex Steps”

“The ringing in my ears evaporated in 2.25 days”

Does it all sound familiar?

The Internet is full with bullshit, but it is also full with information that saves lives everyday, what is true and what is a scam? Is there really a miraculous Tinnitus cure out there that the western medicine didn’t discover but is sold for 49.95$ on some websites?

I know it sounds I’m going to say all is a big fat lie and that there is no cure for Tinnitus, but that’s not what I’m saying, what I’m saying is this:

  1. Tinnitus cure that works for the general public and really 100% cures Tinnitus doesn’t exist.
  2. There are some holistic-natural-non western methods that were found to decrease the symptoms in many and even rarely eliminate Tinnitus completely

I don’t want to discuss the “why not”, I think it is quite obvious why those “I cure tinnitus in 1 hour, 2 steps and 3 drops” are far from being true and their only effect is on your Credit card :)

It’s more interesting to discuss the “why yes”, can you tinnitus be cured? Can your symptoms reduce significantly where all modern medicine failed?

The answer is: yes, it is possible, but you need to understand that no “magic” is involved and the truth is the truth – not a fantasy but reality.

We all (or at least many of us) realize that modern medicine is limited, its not her fault she is quite young and ignorant, on the other hand there are many types of therapies that are ancient, sometimes they can provide answers that the modern medicine fail to supply. Unfortunately, there is little (although improved in recent years) cooperation between modern/western medicine and the other therapies.

What did the “Tinnitus Miracle” (and their likes) did? They spent some time “digging” the Internet and other alternative medicine resources (yeah, some still read books ;) ) and collected many of the alternative methods that were found to help to cure tinnitus. In that aspects they are not scammers or cheaters, the things they offer were found to help reduce Tinnitus symptoms and in some cases (rare I might add) even to eliminate it.

These guys didn’t invent anything new but they gathered in one place the most effective alternative treatments, the other thing they did is to rap it with aggressive marketing pitches.

Cure Tinnitus in 3 steps?

Not likely, but it should, these are ancient methods that helped many , failed others and might help you.

Is there a difference between the numerous cure tinnitus offers/e-books/guides?

Yes, they had to do somethings differently but there is no fundamental difference they are all “the same lady with a different tie”, they all discuss the same issues, the same herbs and methods you should use/take/swallow/etc.

As stated above one of the most aggresive offers is the “Tinnitus Miracle” which has nothing miraculous about it, but if you are not an alternative medicine savvy you will find interesting stuff in it, so my conclusion is:

Ignore the aggressive marketing and misleading pitch, and buy one of these e-books or dig this information yourself, you can get it all if you put some hours into reading some of the online resources (take a look at the link section on this site) and also visit your nearest University/College library and take a look at some of the researches about alternative therapies for Tinnitus. Another idea is to meet an holistic therapist (like Homeopathy) that can give you some good ideas about where to start.

If you are into scientific research about Tinnitus, here are some interesting videos:
Professor Carole Hackney, Department of Physiology, Development and Neuroscience, University of Cambridge discusses tinnitus research:

UCL Professor discusses tinnitus research (why there is not enough funding to research Tinnitus?!):

This one is a bit more “academic” style for those of you who loved their years at the Uni. ;)
